Shorshe Ilish Recipe: A Delicious Bengali Dish for Seafood Lovers

Ingredients:

  • 4 Hilsa fish steaks

  5. Add 1/2 cup water, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon sugar to the pan, and stir well.
  6. Add the fried fish steaks to the pan and coat them well with the mustard sauce.
  7. Cover the pan and let the fish cook in the mustard sauce for 5-7 minutes on low heat.
  8. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot with steamed rice.
